A pesquisa com células-tronco embrionárias: breve análise sobre a posição do Supremo Tribunal Federal no julgamento da Adi 3510567

Resumo

O presente estudo tem como objetivo a análise da posição do Supremo Tribunal Federal no julgamento da Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade nº 3510, ajuizada pelo Procurador-Geral da República, que tinha por fundamento a declaração de inconstitucionalidade do art. 5º e parágrafos da Lei nº 11.105/2005 – Lei de Biossegurança, que permite pesquisas científicas com células-tronco embrionárias.

ABSTRACT: This study aims to analyze the position of the Supreme Court in the judgment of the Unconstitutionality Lawsuit nº 3510, filed by the General-Attorney of the Republic, which was founded in the declaration of unconstitutionality of Article 5 and paragraphs of Law nº 11.105/2005 – Biosafety Law, which allows scientific research with embryonic stem cells.
